The good thing for Americans when it comes to the Deathstalker Scorpion is that they primarily reside in North Africa and the Middle East. The bad news for those citizens is that this scorpion is responsible for the majority of scorpion-related deaths.
Healthy adults aren’t as susceptible to death when stung by these guys, but we can’t say the same for children. Kids and people with compromised immune systems can suffer fever, coma convulsions, and paralysis right before their lungs get filled with their own fluids.
